Privacy Policy

Summary

Booster+ collects minimal, anonymous usage data to help us understand how the app is used and improve it. We do not collect any personal information that could identify you. All exercise records, settings, and streak data are stored only on your device. There are no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics, and no account system.

Data we collect

The app collects anonymous usage events to help us improve the experience:

• Install event — a one-time event when the app is first launched, so we can count total installs.
• App open event — recorded each time the app is opened, so we can understand usage patterns.
• Exercise events — when you start and complete an exercise, we record which exercise type (e.g., Kegel, Mindfulness) was performed. We do not record the content of your sessions.

Each event includes a randomly generated device identifier (Android ID) that allows us to count unique users. This identifier cannot be linked to your name, email, phone number, or any other personal information.

Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email, or contact information
• Your location
• The content of your exercise sessions
• Any health data beyond exercise completion counts
• Information from other apps on your device

Data we store on your device

The app stores your exercise completion history, your screening result, your reminder times, and your session preferences (such as your chosen mindfulness session length) using Android's local DataStore. This data never leaves your device except for the anonymous exercise events described above.

How we use your data

The anonymous usage data helps us:

• Understand which exercises are most popular
• Track overall app usage to prioritize development
• Identify and fix technical issues

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data retention

Anonymous usage events are retained on our servers for up to 2 years, after which they are deleted.

Permissions used

The app requests the following permissions:

• Internet — to send anonymous usage events to our server.
• Vibrate — for haptic feedback during exercises.
• Post notifications — for the daily reminders you opt into in Settings.
• Receive boot completed — to restore your scheduled reminders after a device reboot.

Uninstall

Uninstalling Booster+ removes all locally stored data from your device. Anonymous usage events that were previously sent to our server are retained according to our data retention policy.

Children

Booster+ is intended for adult use. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. Material changes will be noted on the homepage and in an in-app notice.
